RETURN POLICY

We offer a refund guarantee for any reason within the first 7 business days of delivery. To minimize returns we recommend fully understanding the case size (26mm, 31mm, 36mm, 40mm, etc.) of the item you’re purchasing. If you have strong doubts about the size, we suggest trying on a watch of the size you’re considering before making a purchase. Returns and/or refunds are void if the following conditions are not met:

  • The security tag that is attached to the item when it is delivered to you is removed.
  • Accessories are damaged or missing.
  • Modifications, alterations, or damage has occurred.
  • Signs of use, wear, and tear are present.
  • Return packing instructions were not followed and the item was damaged during return shipping.

If a return is accepted, the following policies apply:

  • Return Shipping Fee: A return shipping fee applies to all returns. This is usually ~$100 and depends on your location.
  • Credit Card Fee: If paid by credit card, a 3.5% fee will be deducted. This is kept by the credit card companies and not by Watch Chest. To avoid this, we recommend payment by bank wire where there are no additional fees deducted.
  • Restocking Fee: An 18% restocking fee applies to new/unworn watches.
  • Custom/Special Orders: Custom or special-order items cannot be returned for a refund.
  • Refund Deductions: All return fees will be deducted from the refund.

REFUND PROCESS

Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 1-3 business days. For bank wire payments, we will mail a check to the address of your choice instead of crediting the original payment method.

 

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

  • Contact Us: Please call us at 417-319-4044 to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Receive Instructions: Our team will provide you with a pre-paid label and detailed instructions on how to securely package and ship your item back to us. Not following these directions will void the return or exchange.
  • Ship Your Item: Ship your item by dropping it off at the shipping carrier denoted on the provided pre-paid shipping label, this will be either UPS or Fedex. Make sure to get a drop off receipt from the store clerk for proof of delivery.

OUR EXCHANGE POLICY

If you would like to exchange your item for a different model, size, or style, we are happy to help. To minimize exchanges we recommend fully understanding the case size (26mm, 31mm, 36mm, 40mm, etc.) of the item you’re purchasing. If you have strong doubts about the size, we suggest trying on a watch of the size you’re considering before making a purchase. To initiate an exchange, follow the same steps outlined in the "How to Return an Item" section. The following conditions apply for all exchanges:

  • All return policy conditions must be met to be eligible for an exchange. This ensures the item that was purchased is in the same condition as when you received it. 
  • A shipping fee applies to all exchanges. This is usually ~$100 and depends on your location.

FAQ

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If the return or exchange is due to our error, we will cover the shipping costs. For all other returns or exchanges, the client is responsible for the shipping charges.

What if my watch is damaged or defective?

Many of our items are pre-owned and may vary in condition and functionality. If you receive an item that is damaged or defective beyond reasonable expectations—such as damage during shipping or the item completely stops working—please contact us immediately at 417-319-4044. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Above all, our clients’ happiness and satisfaction are our top priorities. We accept returns and exchanges for any reason.

How do I know if my return or exchange has been processed?

We take refunds and exchanges very seriously and will be in contact with you every step of the way, doing everything we can to ensure a positive experience with us.

What if the watch I want to exchange for is more expensive?

If the watch you wish to exchange for is more expensive than your original purchase, you will simply need to pay the difference in price. For example, if you purchased a watch for $5,000 and want to exchange it for a watch that is $6,000, you would need to pay the return shipping costs and the $1,000 difference.

Can I cancel or change my order before it ships?

Yes, you can cancel or change your order before it ships. Please contact our team as soon as possible at 417-319-4044. In some rare and special circumstances, such as when we are sourcing a watch for you and cannot return it ourselves, fees may apply.
