When you accept our offer, we’ll email you a fully-insured, prepaid, UPS shipping label, along with detailed instructions on how to safely package your watch.

Does Watch Chest provide me with shipping instructions?

Yes. Once you accept Watch Chest's offer, we will send you detailed instructions on how to safely package and ship your watch. It is important that you pack your watch a certain way to be fully covered under insurance. Below is an abridged version of instructions that will be sent to you:
It is important that you pack your watch a certain way to be fully covered under insurance. This will require using two cardboard boxes.

  • Grab two sturdy boxes, one smaller that will fit inside the larger. You must double box your watch(es). This will ensure your watch remains safe while in transit.
  • Pack your watch and any boxes or accessories it came with into the smaller box and seal the box. This CANNOT be the original box the watch came in.
  • Tape the pre-addressed label to the larger, outermost box. Do not put anything on the box that would indicate that there is a watch or high-value item inside.
  • Use clear packing tape to tape the box shut.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

No. Watch Chest sends you a prepaid UPS shipping label.

Is my watch insured during transit?

Yes. However, you must receive a drop off receipt from UPS to prove they successfully acquired the package.

Is there any paperwork required by Watch Chest to ship my watch?

Yes. Along with shipping instructions, Watch Chest will send a Customer Agreement document that lays out the details of the transaction, Terms & Conditions, & certifies you are the legal owner of the watch. This document must be sent with your watch in order for the sale or trade to proceed.

How do I get my watch to UPS?

High value watches are best hand delivered to and receiving a drop off receipt from official UPS Store personnel. Insurance only starts once the package is scanned into UPS's system and the drop off receipt is your proof. If you are not able to receive a UPS drop off receipt, do not drop off your watch.
